Rakun

Rakun brings movies, series, anime, and live channels together so you can watch without juggling different apps or losing your place. It focuses on a consistent experience across devices, so you can start on your phone and continue on your TV or laptop with no confusion. You can build your personal list, keep track of what you have watched, and come back to any title later. For users who prefer direct installs, Rakun APK is also an option for getting the app on Android devices.

App features

Real-time sync across all your devices

Rakun keeps progress, history, and your list updated in real time. Start a movie on your mobile during a commute, then continue from the same second on your TV or computer at home. This consistent state means you do not need to scrub for where you left off or remember what you watched last night.

Live TV with an integrated guide

The app includes a live TV section with an on-screen guide. You can see what is on now and what is coming next, then switch channels without guesswork. This helps you plan your viewing and jump straight to programs that fit your schedule.

Ad-free during playback on every plan

On Rakun, you can play content without ads interrupting the stream, even on the free plan. You can watch episodes and live moments without mid-roll breaks. This setup keeps the viewing flow consistent from start to finish.

Watch Party for shared viewing

Rakun lets you play content in sync with friends, no matter which device each person uses. Start a session and everyone watches the same moment together without manual countdowns. It is useful for premieres, marathons, or casual weekend sessions when you want to keep the timing aligned.

Trakt integration for tracking and recommendations

It connects with your Trakt account to sync what you watch in both directions. Your viewing history informs personalized suggestions, and your activity stays consistent if you use Trakt elsewhere. This integration reduces manual tracking and helps surface new titles based on real behavior.

Profiles and family controls in Rakun

Rakun supports multiple profiles with PIN protection. You can set up a Kids profile to limit content to age-appropriate titles, then lock adult profiles with a PIN. This keeps each user’s tastes and restrictions separate, so family members can watch with confidence.

Playback and device support

Rakun uses native apps per platform for smooth navigation and reliable controls. On TV, the Rakun Android TV interface is optimized for remote input, and Chromecast support lets you send video from your phone with a few taps. The player handles formats like MKV, offers multiple audio tracks and subtitles when available, and supports offline downloads for trips or areas with weak coverage.
