KINGDOM HEARTS

Kingdom Hearts is an action RPG series born from the collaboration between Square Enix and Disney. First released in 2002, it combines original characters with worlds and figures from Disney and Pixar films, all tied together by a storyline centered on light versus darkness. You play as Sora, a young boy who wields the Keyblade, traveling across different worlds alongside Donald Duck and Goofy to fight the Heartless and reunite with his friends. The series has grown into a large franchise spanning multiple main titles and spin-offs, with the core story concluding in Kingdom Hearts III (2019).

Key Features:

• Disney and Pixar worlds: Explore iconic locations from Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Toy Story, Hercules, Tangled, and many more, each with its own story and characters.
• Real-time combat: A fast-paced action battle system where you attack, cast magic, and summon allies. Later entries add transformations, team attacks, and Keyblade switching.
• Party system: Donald and Goofy fight alongside you, and you can often swap in a guest character specific to each world.
• Gummi Ship segments: Travel between worlds through space-combat sections where you pilot and customize your own ship.
• Music and voice acting: Composed by Yoko Shimomura, the soundtrack is one of the series' most beloved aspects. English voice cast includes actors from both the Disney and video game worlds.
• A connected storyline: While the plot is famously complex, each game contributes to a single overarching narrative about friendship, sacrifice, and the power of light.
