How to Delete Polybuzz Account: Step-by-Step Deletion Guide

Deleting your Polybuzz account removes your profile, your created characters, your conversation history, and your access to any Pro subscription benefits. The process is done through the app, and once completed, the deletion is permanent. Here's how to delete your Polybuzz account step by step.

Before You Delete

Account deletion on Polybuzz is irreversible. Once you confirm the deletion, your data is removed from the platform, and you can't recover it. Before you start the deletion process:

Cancel your Pro subscription first. If you have an active Polybuzz Pro subscription, you need to cancel it separately before deleting your account. Deleting your account doesn't automatically cancel the subscription, and you could continue being billed. Go to your account settings, find the subscription management section, and cancel the subscription. Wait for confirmation that the cancellation has been processed before proceeding with account deletion.
Export or save anything you want to keep. Your conversation history, character definitions, and any other data within the app will be gone after deletion. If you have character descriptions you want to reuse elsewhere, copy them to a notes app or text file before deleting. Screenshot conversations if you want records of them. Polybuzz doesn't offer a data export tool, so manual saving is your only option.
Understand what happens to your characters. If you've created public Polybuzz characters, deleting your account removes them from the platform. Other users won't be able to chat with them anymore. If you want your characters to remain available, consider transferring ownership to another account first, though Polybuzz doesn't have a formal character transfer feature. The most practical solution is to leave your account active if your characters have an active user base.

How to Delete Polybuzz Account Step by Step

The account deletion button is not support on the web version, only the app version. If you don't have installed the Polybuzz app on your Android phone, just download Polybuzz from APKPure.

Step 1: Open Account Settings

Launch Polybuzz and log in. Tap the profile/menu icon (top or bottom right) to open settings; placement differs across app builds.

Step 2: Find Account Deletion

Head to Me > Account.

Step 3: Complete Deletion Prompts

Select Delete. Read warnings about permanent data loss and subscription changes carefully, then confirm if you wish to proceed.

If You Can't Find the Delete Option

If the deletion option isn't visible in the app settings, you can:

Contact Polybuzz support. Send an email or use the in-app support form to request account deletion. Include your account email address and explicitly state that you want your account permanently deleted. Support teams typically process these requests within a few business days.

Once your account is deleted, uninstall the Polybuzz app from your device if you no longer need it. Your conversation history and character data are gone from Polybuzz's servers. Any data the company retained for model training purposes was already anonymized when ingested and isn't tied to your deleted account.
