Flightradar24 is a free flight tracking app that allows users to see flights around the world move in real-time on a detailed map, identify flights overhead, and view flight information including a photo of the actual airplane. Two upgrade options, Silver and Gold, offer additional features such as more detailed aircraft and flight information, weather layers, and extended Mode S data. Flightradar24 receives positional data from ADS-B transponders on most aircraft and has a network of over 20,000 ground stations to receive this data, as well as multilateration and real-time radar data in some regions. The app is strictly for entertainment purposes and the developer is not responsible for incidents resulting from its use.
