Epic Games has rolled out a fresh Marvel collaboration in Fortnite, this time tied to Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the latest Spider-Man film hitting theaters worldwide. The Fortnite Brand New Day crossover was revealed just as the movie launches globally, bringing three iconic Marvel characters -- Spider-Man, Hulk, and Punisher -- into the battle royale item shop.

It's not the first time Fortnite has dipped into the Marvel well. But this drop lands right as Brand New Day opens in North America and across international markets, making it a clean movie tie-in rather than a random cosmetic drop.

What's in the Fortnite Brand New Day Crossover

The crossover adds three character skins to the Fortnite item shop. Spider-Man leads the lineup with a suit design that matches the film's look -- a textured red and blue suit with raised webbing, nodding to the classic design worn by previous live-action Spider-Man actors.

The Fortnite Hulk skin uses the character's Bruce Banner form from the film, where Mark Ruffalo reprises the role. It's a notable inclusion. In Brand New Day, the character is a mentor figure to Peter Parker, helping him deal with a mysterious physical transformation caused by the mounting pressure of being Spider-Man full-time.

Punisher rounds out the trio. The Fortnite Punisher skin features Bernthal's Frank Castle makes his MCU film debut in Brand New Day, and the Fortnite skin follows suit. For fans of the character, it's a rare chance to run a Punisher skin in-game. Frank Castle doesn't show up in battle royale collabs nearly as often as the web-slinger himself. Is it worth the V-Bucks? If you've been waiting for a Punisher skin, probably.

The Movie Behind the Fortnite Marvel Crossover

Spider-Man: Brand New Day picks up four years after No Way Home, with Peter Parker living as a full-time Spider-Man in a New York that no longer remembers his identity. The film brings back Tom Holland and Zendaya, and introduces notable additions to the cast -- Ruffalo's Hulk, Bernthal's Punisher, and Michael Mando's Scorpion.

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the film opened in China on July 29 and hits North American theaters on July 31. Early box office tracking projects a massive opening, with estimates ranging from $180 million to over $230 million domestically.

The Fortnite Spider-Man Brand New Day crossover syncs up neatly with that theatrical window. If you've already seen the movie or plan to catch it this weekend, the skins let you carry some of that energy into the game.

Timing and Availability

Epic hasn't published a specific end date for the Fortnite Brand New Day skins in the item shop. As with most Fortnite Marvel crossover drops, the skins will likely rotate through the shop across multiple days rather than sticking around permanently. If you want a specific skin from this set, grabbing it when it appears is the safest move.

The collaboration doesn't include any map changes, limited-time modes, or gameplay items based on what's been shown so far. This is purely a cosmetic crossover -- skins, likely some back bling and pickaxes, and possibly an emote or two tied to the characters.

Final Thoughts

The Fortnite x Spider-Man Brand New Day crossover doesn't reinvent the wheel, but it doesn't need to. It lands three solid Marvel skins at the right time, with a clear connection to a movie that's about to dominate the box office. If you're a Marvel fan who plays Fortnite, it's worth checking the item shop this week.

You can grab Fortnite on Android to jump in and check out the new crossover skins while they're available.
