Wuthering Waves is set to release its Version 2.3 update, “Fiery Arpeggio of Summer Reunion,” on April 29, 2025. Celebrating the game’s first anniversary, this update introduces two new 5-star Resonators—Zani, a powerful Spectro Gauntlet user, and Ciaccona, an Aero Pistol-wielding bard—each with their signature weapons and new banners. The Anniversary Convene event will also return, bringing back popular characters and weapons for players to collect. Alongside exciting new Phantom Echoes, gameplay optimizations, and special anniversary events and stories, this update promises a rich and rewarding experience for all players.

Wuthering Waves Version 2.3: Exciting New Character Banners Revealed

Version 2.3 introduces two new 5-star Resonators:

Zani (Spectro, Gauntlet): A powerful melee fighter with unique Spectro Frazzle stacks.

Ciaccona (Aero, Pistol): A bard who applies Aero Erosion to enemies, boosting team damage.

Zani’s banner and signature weapon Blazing Justice (Gauntlet) will launch in Phase 1 on April 29. Ciaccona and her weapon Woodland Aria (Pistol) will arrive in Phase 2, with the exact date to be announced.

Additionally, two Anniversary Convene banners will bring back fan favorites like Roccia and Phoebe, giving players a chance to pull limited characters and weapons.

With the upcoming update, players will gain access to a new permanent event called Dreaming Deep, as well as a fresh story event titled Your Summer Will Never Wither. Additionally, a new companion story named A Blaze in the Dark will be available to further enrich the game’s narrative experience.
