ZZZ 3.2 Release Date, Time & What to Expect

Zenless Zone Zero 3.2, titled "Their Secret Histories," is almost here. HoYoverse has confirmed the release date, and the maintenance window is short enough that you won't miss much. If you're deciding whether to save or spend your Polychromes, or you just want the exact ZZZ 3.2 release date and time, here's the full rundown plus everything arriving in the update.

ZZZ 3.2 Release Date and Time

The ZZZ 3.2 version update starts its server maintenance on September 9, 2026, at 06:00 UTC+8. HoYoverse estimates the downtime at five hours, so the game should be playable again around 11:00 UTC+8 that same day.

For most Western players, the new version actually rolls out the evening before. Here's how the ZZZ 3.2 release time breaks down by region:

Region	Maintenance Starts	Estimated Go-Live
China / Singapore (UTC+8)	Sept 9, 6:00 AM	Sept 9, 11:00 AM
Japan (UTC+9)	Sept 9, 7:00 AM	Sept 9, 12:00 PM
Australia (UTC+10)	Sept 9, 8:00 AM	Sept 9, 1:00 PM
UK (UTC+1)	Sept 8, 11:00 PM	Sept 9, 4:00 AM
Central Europe (UTC+2)	Sept 9, 12:00 AM	Sept 9, 5:00 AM
US East (UTC-4)	Sept 8, 6:00 PM	Sept 8, 11:00 PM
US West (UTC-7)	Sept 8, 3:00 PM	Sept 8, 8:00 PM

Timing can slip if maintenance runs long, so treat 11:00 UTC+8 as an estimate rather than a promise.

What's New in the ZZZ 3.2 Version Update

The headline of this ZZZ 3.2 version update is the new Armorer Specialty, and its first Agent is Claret. Claret is an Electric-type S-Rank who arrives in the "Bloodmoon Rising" banner. The Armorer role is brand new, so expect Claret to play a bit differently from the Attack and Anomaly Agents you're used to building.

The story moves forward too. Season 3 Chapter 3, "Their Secret Histories," is the new main story content, and it gives the version its name. If you've been keeping up with the season, this is the chapter that pushes it ahead.

Claret isn't alone in Phase I. An S-Rank Agent named Nangong Yu, an Ether-type Stun unit, joins too. There are new outfits, rerun Agent Signal Searches, and fresh event gameplay to work through across the patch.

ZZZ 3.2 Banners and Events

Phase I of the ZZZ v3.2 limited channels runs from right after the update until September 30, 2026, at 11:59 server time. Two Agent banners and two W-Engine banners open at once:

"Bloodmoon Rising": Claret (S-Rank, Electric Armorer) with boosted A-Ranks Anton and Nicole
"Axiom of Captivation": Nangong Yu (S-Rank, Ether Stun) with boosted A-Ranks Anton and Nicole
"Crimson Thirst": the limited W-Engine for Claret
"Neon Fantasies": the limited W-Engine for Nangong Yu

Not sure who to pull first? The "Final Callback - Audition Stage" event lets you try both Claret and Nangong Yu in trial stages and claim rewards for clearing them.
