Rev Hunter

Rev Hunter helps when a network applies local restrictions or content filters that interrupt apps and sites. It creates a secure path for your data using SSH tunneling, so traffic can pass without being altered by network devices. Servers and starter configurations are available at launch, and you can adjust settings to match your provider. If you prefer manual control, custom setups are supported. To get started, install the Rev Hunter APK and open the tunnel before using other apps.

Rev Hunter Features

Bypass local restrictions

Rev Hunter uses an SSH tunnel to carry your traffic. This approach helps you reach apps and sites when a hotspot, campus, or an ISP blocks specific services. The tunnel keeps requests inside a single path, which reduces interference from filters and inspection tools. If a connection is unstable, you can retry without changing your apps.

Connection methods

Choose a method that fits your network conditions. If one path fails, try another option.

• SSH DIRECT
• SSH+PROXY
• SSH+SSL
• SSH+SSL (PROXY)

Switch methods when a firewall blocks one route, then test your apps again.

Predefined servers and customization

Rev Hunter includes predefined servers and configuration templates to simplify setup. You can create or edit your own configuration when you need specific parameters. This is useful if you receive settings from a service provider or an organization. Save changes, connect, and verify that your traffic flows as expected.

Start using the tunnel

Rev Hunter offers SSH tunneling with several connection methods and adjustable configurations for restricted networks. Confirm your settings, start the tunnel, and check that your apps load correctly. To begin, download Rev Hunter and follow the on screen setup.
