Collect characters and outfits
The Simpsons™: Tapped Out brings in many familiar faces. You unlock characters like Homer, Marge, Lisa, Bart, Ned, Barney, and Fat Tony, then dress them in themed outfits such as Daredevil Bart or Lizard Queen Lisa. Each addition adds new tasks and small interactions around town, which helps the city feel active.
Assign jobs and manage tasks
You send citizens on jobs to earn cash, XP, and donuts that fund future builds. Tasks include Apu’s long shifts, Moe’s errands around town, and Homer’s poolside toil. As timers finish, you collect rewards and set up the next batch of work, which keeps the town’s economy moving.
Canon stories and animated scenes
Quests are written by The Simpsons writers and include exclusive animated scenes. You will see jokes and references tied to the TV universe that give context to your building choices. The tone stays light and consistent with the show, which helps each quest feel familiar.
Events, districts, and improved visuals
Seasonal events such as Halloween and other recurring content add new items and limited time quests. You can expand into areas like the Waterfront and Springfield Heights with shops and sights that change the look of the map. HD graphics and stability improvements support smoother play as your town becomes more complex.

With the future saved, it looks like Springfield can finally settle down for a nice, relaxing fall. While it'll take a few weeks for everything to go back to whatever counts as normal, we're sure that the presence of time travelers and a possibly rogue AI won't cause any problems at all. Right? Right. We're totally fine. Really looking forward to a nice, relaxing fall.
