BLEACH Mirrors High CBT Schedule and Details
The closed beta test runs from July 23 (Thursday) to July 30 (Thursday), 2026. It starts at 14:00 Beijing time (UTC+8).

What's Playable in the CBT
Bandai Namco hasn't published a full CBT changelog, but based on the system reveal trailer and official materials, here's what testers get their hands on:
Story chapters: The opening of the post-Blood War narrative, introducing the two protagonists and their induction into the Gotei 13. Original characters like Ichigo Kurosaki and Rukia Kuchiki appear alongside the new cast.
Original characters: Three new Gotei 13 members were just revealed on July 18: Jurinna Naru (CV: Izumi Kazehana), Hando Giro (CV: Batori Shogo), and Tokishima Maiko (CV: Shino Shizuka). They join the two protagonist options from the first announcement. That brings the known original cast to five characters, all with Kubo's signature art style.
Zanpakuto customization: Pick your blade's shape, guard, hilt wrap, and decorative elements. This affects gameplay directly : the game treats your Zanpakuto as the core of your combat identity, with different configurations affecting how your character fights.
3-squad combat: Battles use a three-person team system with card-based skill selection. Instead of full manual action combat, you control pacing through card choices: each card triggers a specific attack, special move, or team combo. The big highlight is "Soul Resonance" : a coordinated three-member finisher that's visually on par with the anime's best fight scenes.
Character progression: Leveling, skill unlocks, and early equipment systems. Bandai Namco hasn't detailed whether this is a gacha-based roster or story-unlock system, but the character reveal format (named individuals with VAs) points toward gacha.
What's Not in the CBT
Keep expectations in check. This is a first closed beta, not a soft launch. Things you probably won't see:
- Full story campaign: this is early chapters only
- Complete character roster: only the revealed originals plus a few returning Bleach characters
- Monetization systems: the shop and gacha rates aren't finalized
- All game modes: PvP and endgame content aren't confirmed for CBT
- Multi-language support: the CBT is focused on a limited region; full localization comes later
Bandai Namco also warned that the CBT could be cut short or modified without notice. Standard boilerplate, but worth knowing if you're planning your week around it.

BLEACH Mirrors High Preview: Characters, Combat, and ReleaseEverything we know about BLEACH Mirrors High, the new Bleach mobile game by Bandai Namco with Tite Kubo's original story set after the Thousand Year Blood War. Characters, combat system, and release details inside.
Learn MoreBLEACH Mirrors High Release Date
There's no release date yet. Bandai Namco is targeting a full reveal in summer 2026, with the game launching on App Store and Google Play sometime after. The CBT timing (late July) plus the summer reveal window suggests a late 2026 or early 2027 global launch.
What we know for certain: the game is confirmed for both iOS and Android, it'll be free-to-play with in-app purchases, and it's getting a Traditional Chinese localization at minimum. A global English release looks likely given Bandai Namco published the system trailer in English, but no regions are officially confirmed beyond Japan and Chinese-speaking markets.
