Actions and Stuff just got its most technically ambitious update yet. Version 1.11, released in June 2026 by Oreville Studios, brings Vibrant Visuals compatibility to the animation pack, along with refined mob behaviors and full support for running alongside other texture packs. If you've been waiting for the pack to play nicely with your existing visual setup, this is the update that delivers.

Vibrant Visuals Finally Arrives

The headline feature of version 1.11 is Vibrant Visuals integration. This isn't just a shader toggle; it's a complete lighting and rendering overhaul that changes how the world looks.

With Vibrant Visuals enabled, PBR (Physically Based Rendering) processes how light hits surfaces dynamically. Sunlight casts warm gold tones across landscapes in the morning. Sky colors shift differently depending on the biome you're in; desert sunrises look distinct from taiga sunrises. Rain and snow effects gain depth with proper light scattering.

The performance cost is real. Vibrant Visuals pushes even mid-range devices at 64x resolution. Oreville Studios optimized the 32x subpack specifically for this feature, so if your phone struggles at 64x, drop to 32x and enable Vibrant Visuals there; you still get the lighting improvements without the full texture resolution load.

Full Texture Pack Compatibility

Before 1.11, running Actions and Stuff alongside other texture packs was hit-or-miss. The animation pack would sometimes override visual elements or clash with custom block textures. That headache is gone.

The 1.11 update restructured how the pack's subpacks interact with other resource packs. The 16x Compatible Experience subpack now specifically plays nice with vanilla textures and third-party packs; named that way for a reason. You can stack Actions and Stuff on top of your favorite block textures, and the animations layer in without visual conflicts.

This matters for players who have spent time curating their visual setup. You no longer have to choose between your custom sky textures and Oreville's mob animations. Stack them both, set the load order correctly, and everything works.

Refined Mob Behaviors

The update polishes several existing mob animations. Villager trading animations got smoother transitions. Wolf running gaits now match better with the terrain they move across. Baby mob scurrying looks more natural when they change direction.

The Happy Ghasts added in version 1.5 received attention too. Hot-air balloon saddle animations now track more smoothly during elevation changes, and the ghast facial expression system, which supports blinking, eye movement, and eyebrow animations, got expanded with new expression variants.

What Stayed the Same

Actions and Stuff remains a pure visual pack. Version 1.11 doesn't add new gameplay mechanics, blocks, or items. The core feature set that earned the 4.9-star rating is intact: three-part combat combos, breathing idle animations, diving and cannonball water entries, 3D item models, and custom armor visuals. The price also stays at 1,690 Minecoins on the Marketplace, with the 75% Marketplace Pass discount still active.

If you use other texture packs, the compatibility improvements alone justify updating. If you have a device that can handle Vibrant Visuals, the lighting upgrade substantially changes how the game looks and feels. If you're on a budget Android phone running 16x, the performance optimizations might give you a smoother experience, but you won't see the big visual changes.

To update through the Marketplace, go to My Packs and check for pending updates. APK users need to download the new version from the developer's site and install it over the existing one; Minecraft will detect the new files on the next launch.
